2. Pre-hospitalization Consultation

Complete preparation before your procedure at Kirchberg Hospital.

Documents to bring:

  • • ID card or passport
  • • CNS card (National Health Fund)
  • • CMCM card if applicable
  • • Signed surgical consent (prepared during this consultation, bring the original on the day of surgery)
  • • List of your medications
  • • Laboratory results (< 3 months)
  • • X-ray images

3. Hospital Admission

For One Day / outpatient procedures, admission takes place via Clinique Bohler. For inpatient stays with at least one overnight, admission takes place via Hôpital Kirchberg.

One Day (outpatient procedure):

For One Day procedures, patients do not need to bring many personal belongings. Patients go home on the same day, a few hours after the procedure, accompanied by another person.

Inpatient stay (at least one night):

  • • Nightwear and bathrobe
  • • Comfortable daywear
  • • Closed non-slip slippers
  • • Toiletries
  • • Glasses/hearing aid if needed
